On the 1st and 2nd of June 2022, we were delighted to host several of Verlinde's leading European partners at a seminar held in a vineyard near Barcelona. It gave everyone a welcome chance to reconnect at last after the Covid pandemic, combining productive work, meaningful discussion and plenty of fun.
Hoist UK was founded in 2006 by Tony Dickson and Paul Jordan, beginning life as an approved UK distributor for French brand Verlinde's lifting equipment. It has since grown into one of the country's largest designers, distributors and manufacturers of lifting and handling equipment, installing solutions for customers across the UK and abroad.
SERE MAINTENANCE was established in 1962 in Vertou, in the Loire-Atlantique department, and focuses on designing and marketing lifting equipment, handling systems and overhead cranes. Its all-round specialists also handle the necessary studies, inspections (Regular General Checks) and repairs for this kind of machinery.
It was 44 years ago that HERIPRET developed its expertise in manufacturing and servicing overhead cranes for handling loads of between 125 kg and 120 tonnes across spans reaching 35 meters. Founded in Wingles, in the Hauts-de-France region, in 1977 by Mr Heripret, the eponymous company came to focus on maintaining lifting gear, overhead cranes and hoists.
This past summer, VERLINDE started deploying a new global partnership programme covering all its customers, whether frequent, occasional, long-standing or newly acquired. The programme's declared aim is to extend as many services as possible to our most engaged clients, while ensuring every client, without exception, receives a set of services and benefits matched to their current partnership tier.
Australia's recently enlarged Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) is now benefiting from VERLINDE's newest electric chain hoist technology, with 24 STAGEMAKER SR5 D8 units and 12 STAGEMAKER SR10 D8 units, plus matching STAGEMAKER Flight Cases. This purchase accompanied the venue's expansion, which also saw more than 70 STAGEMAKER electric chain hoists fitted throughout the new areas.
