Verlinde unveiled a new range of synthetic rope electric hoists: EUROBLOC VF, rated for loads up to 20 000 kg. Consistently pushing the boundaries of hoisting unit design, Verlinde has built in numerous innovations for this new product, protected by 15 patents.
Manelec — manufacturer and supplier of overhead cranes and lifting equipment, VERLINDE partner and member of the Verlinde after-sales service — delivered a complete range of cranes, gantry cranes and hoists to longstanding customer AGCO for the new extension of its Beauvais factory. AGCO, an American company founded in 1990, ranks among the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of agricultural equipment.
Manitou Group, a global benchmark in handling solutions, personnel lifting and earthmoving equipment, selected SERE Maintenance — a member of the EUROPONT and SAV VERLINDE network — to fit its new rough-terrain aerial platform production unit in Candé, Maine-et-Loire, with overhead cranes and lifting equipment. Running since late 2021, this 18,000m2 plant forms part of a broader plan to develop and modernise industrial facilities across all of the group's sites.
Heripret, a Verlinde partner belonging to the after-sales and Europont networks, engineered, built and commissioned a 40-tons overhead crane fitted with a 25-tons auxiliary hoist to handle 35-tons moulds at a metalworking plant. Lifting and moving parts of this weight calls for equipment that combines total reliability with an extremely high level of positioning accuracy.
VERLINDE's EUROCHAIN VX electric hoist range now includes a new single-speed version for loads of from 125 to 2000 kg. The VX-S delivers the same core functions as the EUROCHAIN VX range, adding fresh lifting-speed benefits alongside its design, sturdiness and safety.
Meije, a builder of overhead and gantry cranes and installer of handling systems that belongs to Verlinde's EUROPONT and after-sales network, was awarded a contract to replace a travelling crane at the hydroelectric plant in Mauzac, Dordogne. The plant currently generates enough electricity to supply around 15,000 households.
