ExpertCare by Verlinde

ExpertCare is VERLINDE's smartphone application that displays, from floor level, information from the MT2 electronic monitoring module fitted to EUROBLOC VT wire rope hoists mounted on overhead cranes.

Among the immediate benefits: the tool's simplicity, since it displays information on a smartphone or tablet running Androïd or iOS while the operator stays at floor level, and resource savings, since an inspection platform is no longer needed for such a straightforward check.

The system is made up of:

• using a dongle that pulls MT2 readings straight from the floor. Wireless range between dongle and reader runs 15m by default, stretching to 50m if an external antenna is fitted.

• A smartphone or tablet capable of running the app.

The ExpertCare application lets users monitor:

• Faults and alarms

• How much service life is left in the hoist, brake and contactors

• Load readout, MT2 internal temperature and operating time
