Verlinde puts out an updated version of ExpertCare, the remote monitoring app for its EUROBLOC hoists

ExpertCare, a smartphone app from VERLINDE, shows floor-level users data from the MT4 electronic monitoring module built into EUROBLOC wire rope hoists on overhead cranes.

The immediate benefits come from the tool's simplicity — showing information on an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet while the operator stays at floor level — and from resource savings, since an inspection platform is no longer needed for such a simple inspection.

The system consists of a Wifi modem that reads MT4 data from floor level. The communication range between the modem and a reading device is 50 m.

The ExpertCare application lets users track faults and
alarms, the remaining service life of the hoist, brake and contactors,
load display, MT4 internal temperature and operating
time.

MT4 settings can also be sent over by email, worth noting.
