Built for hazardous environments, Eurochain VX Ex zone 1, 2 & 21 is an Ex-proof hoist meeting ATEX requirements for gas and dust zone areas, supporting safer lifting wherever explosive atmospheres might occur. Three key configurations are available for this compact hoist: a fixed hoist suspended, a hoist on a push-travel monorail trolley, and a hoist on an electrically driven monorail trolley. Installation is simplified and lifting height optimized by its wide-opening suspension lug, while reduced dimensions allow for improved hook approach. Staying compatible with existing trolleys, this range ensures easy integration into both new and existing installations.

Hazardous-area lifting in gas/vapour (zones 1 and 2) and combustible dust (zone 21) environments is what Eurochain VX Ex zones 1, 2 & 21 is engineered for, combining the latest safety regulations with notified body certification for the complete equipment. Built-in inverter travelling comes as standard, delivering smoother, more controlled movements and improved operational efficiency, and every critical component is Ex-rated and thoroughly tested to maximize safety where it matters most. Overheating is prevented through advanced temperature monitoring, even if the equipment is used beyond rated values, supporting safe, reliable performance in demanding conditions. A separated brake torque path from the motor torque path, plus a hoisting brake designed for lifetime durability, further strengthen safety, helping maintain controlled load handling in both T-class-limited gas atmospheres and dust-sensitive zone 21 operations.
